(Dillinger) Ranking Dellinger – Superstar [1977]

Ranking Dellinger - Superstar

Every reggae artist worth his or her salt has their name misspelled at least once in their career. Here Dillinger gets immortalized as ‘Dellinger’. This came out in 1977 on Weed Beat Records (which may go some way to explaining the spelling issues). And check out that deep knee drop from ‘Dellinger’ – he’s in the middle of some serious skanking in that photo (I bet that left-arm is swinging like a metronome).
