Horace Martin ‎– Mix Up [1988]

‘Mix Up’ by Horace Martin was released in 1988 on Redman International Records and was produced by Hugh ‘Redman’ James.

The album art was designed by Wilfred Limonious, and it is one of the more subdued Limonious covers. There are no kinetic sketches and cartoons here, instead it features a simple photo of Horace Martin with a Limonious drawn title, and the rear features a grey geometric design with a few panels of colour – it’s all very 80s in style.

The album is a decent collection of dancehall crooning (anyone with a white glove is going to be a crooner) by a singer who is overlooked way more than he should be.
